Located just off the Molly Stark Trail (Route 9) in southern Vermont,
Marlboro is probably best known as the home of the small but excellent
Marlboro College. The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum is also
located here. In the summer, two special events are big draws: the
Marlboro Music Festival, which was founded by Rudolf Serkin; and Civil
War Days (July), Vermont's largest Civil War event.
