For Marlboro’s graduating High School seniors or college students who are pursuing continuing education. Scholarship awards are at minimum $100.

Eligibility:
-Graduating Seniors must have been a Marlboro, VT. resident during the 2009-10 school year.
-Student must be applying for other financial assistance.
-College students must be in good academic standing.

First-time applicants please furnish:
1. Two letters of recommendation from teachers, principal, Guidance Councilor, community member, or clergy. (not from relatives)
2. Evidence that you have been accepted in, and plan to attend, or are already enrolled in, a public or private vocational school or a 2- or 4-year college.
3. A letter from the applicant briefly describing your proposed area of study, including participation in community service.

-Applications will be judged on grammar, neatness and completeness of presentation.
-Awards will not be based on academic achievement alone.
-The scholarship will be payable to the student to whom it is awarded.

Repeat applicants take note:
If you have already received a Community Club Scholarship, you may re-apply. Send evidence that you are still enrolled in, a public or private vocational school or a 2- or 4-year college, and are currently in good standing.
